So, this book is about the hate relationship between the two executive assistants in a publishing house, Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman. It’s one of the enemies to lovers kinda books! It’s very cute and sweet. I found myself having an “aww” moment a few times while reading it! It’s a light read and is very well-written! The characters are lovable and funny. To be honest, the first time I picked up this book, I stopped reading it because I guess I was taking it too seriously! The characters didn’t sound like they were in their late 20s, but more of early 20s …late teens! Also, the story did start a bit slow so I also had a problem with that!

Anyway, a few months later, I decided to give it another chance! I’m glad I finished this book! It was very cute and not meant to be taken too seriously!

It cheered me up!

The reason I gave this book a 4 star rating was because I felt that the ending just dragged. I really really enjoyed the transition of Lucy and Joshua’s relationship, so I felt that the ending ruined the earlier parts for me! (Not gonna spoil). I think that the book should’ve ended with the car trip home after the wedding. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the way the author turned Joshua into lovey dovey guy didn’t sit well with me! I mean he is cute and all, but not that cute!

Anyway, if you like adorable gentle giants and tiny heroines then this book is for you!
